Where I have worked

2022

Junior Software Developer

Green Fox Academy

The intensive retraining programme that got me into professional development. Java and object-oriented design, relational databases, version control in Git — and above all teamwork on shared projects and mutual code review, which taught me more than the syntax ever did.

Backend → Fullstack Developer

European Code Factory

Three and a half years on enterprise systems for public administration and the energy sector. I started on the backend — integration logic over Apache Kafka and asynchronous event processing for Landis+Gyr and Transelectrica. I gradually moved to a fullstack role on the eSpis and eISIR project for the Czech Ministry of Justice: REST and SOAP services per XSD and WSDL contracts, query optimization over DB2, the Elastic stack, unit and integration tests, and Angular frontend support. Alongside that I built an HR integration for Sconto CZ/SK running as an Azure Function.

Fullstack Developer

IDC

Java backend microservices and an Angular frontend for IDC’s AI platforms. IDC TechMatch is built on matching algorithms connecting technology buyers with vendors; IDC Quanta brings sixty years of IDC research straight into e-mail and Claude AI over MCP. On top of that: AWS, MongoDB, GitLab CI/CD and Grafana monitoring.

Education and certification

Oracle Certified Java SE 8

Programmer I — the official Oracle certification covering the Java language, collections, streams and exception handling.

AI-assisted development

Daily work with Claude Code, OpenAI Codex and Gemini CLI — not as a gimmick, but as a genuine speed-up of routine work.

The specific systems I worked on are listed under projects; client websites are under websites.
